#1 Original Design
The D.H. Russell Canadian Belt Knife
This is the Original Design that started it all. It is our D.H. Russell Canadian Belt Knife which has been in production since 1957.
Extremely comfortable grip for any application from small game dressing and birds to large game. Unique elliptical blade to lessen cutting drag. Palm & finger fitting "offset" handle for safe grip.
Steel: Blade approx. 4" x 1", of 1/8" stock, total knife length 8 1/2". Available in high carbon stainless steel blade, or carbon steel blade. Regular sabre grind, or flat grind blade options.
#2 TRout and bird
A smaller version of the #1 Original Award Model. Designed for dressing of small game, fishing, backpacking. Lightweight, general purpose knife especially suited for the younger outdoors person, those with smaller hands or if you prefer a smaller handle.
Blade: Approx. 3 7/8" x 3/4", of 3/32" stock, total length 8", available in high carbon stainless steel blade, or carbon steel blade. All steel should be kept clean and dry, but especially carbon steel which should be kept cleaned and oiled at all times when not in use. Regular grind or flat grind blade options available.
#3 Boat, Army or Yachtsman
This knife can be sold in different configurations, depending on what sheath you chose. If you get it with the regular sheath, it is known as the Boat knife due to its triangular shaped handle that helps prevent slippage when wet.
If you get it with the overlap sheath, it is known as the Army knife, or 'Jump Knife' as the paratroopers call it. This was issued to the army for well over 30 years and is still stocked in some kitshops across the country.
If you get it with the sheath with the pouch that holds a marlin spike & shackler, that is known as the Yachtsman's knife. A true favorite over the years with the crew of the Bluenose as well as many Coast Guard and yachting people worldwide.

#4 Survival Knife
Modeled after the #1 original design. A favorite among big game hunters the world over as well as for those looking for a generous size outdoor knife. Sturdy design for those with larger hands. With the tab/lock down sheath design, the belt loop is positioned high for comfort while sitting or riding. Other styles of sheaths also available as shown.
Blade approx. 5 1/2" x 1 3/8", of 3/16" stock, total length of 10 5/16". Various handle materials as well as blade materials (stainless or carbon steel) and blade grinds available (regular grind or flat grind)
#100 Large Skinner
"Outdoor Dream" #100 - 1977 Design Award Winner
Designed for dressing only, large handle for larger hands, available with tab/lock down sheath design with belt loop positioned high enough for comfort while sitting or riding. Other sheath styles also available (same sheaths that fit the survival knife also fit the #100).
Blade: Approx. 5" x 1 1/4", of 1/8" stock, total length 9 1/2". High carbon stainless steel or carbon steel, regular grind or flat grind options, various handle materials options.
