A Knife Changing Experience...

February 2022 Update:

I’ve been busy sharpening ice auger blades and axes along with kitchen and hunting knives, scissors and a variety of tools. Sharp kitchen and hunting knives make a big difference in the kitchen and the field. I use water stones for sharpening and a small belt grinder for repairing broken tips and deep chips.

It's almost time to think about getting your summer implements sharpened including lawnmower blades, reel mowers, yard shears such as, pruning, grass and hedge clippers. I sharpen and refresh a wide variety of outdoor tools such as shovels, hoes and rakes. Rust build-up can be removed and the life of your tools will be much longer. I also sharpen splitting and camping axes and hatchets which will help to make your time in the outdoors more enjoyable.

With COVID not yet behind us and if you prefer contactless services, you can drop off kitchen and hunting knives in my mailbox.  Include your contact information and I will call or text when sharpening is completed.

I hand craft unique, live-edge charcuterie and serving boards, made with Manitoba ash, birch, cedar, elm, oak, poplar and Russian olive. I also resurface commercial cutting boards.

I sharpen:  Kitchen, hunting & filet knives; kitchen, fabric and upholstery shears / scissors; commercial Empanada cutting machine blades; rotary cutters, tweezers, cuticle scissors, planer blades, chisels, lawnmower and reel mower blades, electric hedge trimmers, rototiller tines, clippers, pruners, axes, hatchets, machetes, shovels and hoes.
